Long time spinner KAYO has been doing the dj
rounds from Ft. Greene Brooklyn to Manhattan and abroad for nearly 10 years now. He is known to play party pleasers, pop sing-a-long's, to todays hip-hop and a blast of old school hip-hop as well, a la De La Soul to Tribe Called Quest. Kayo resides at "Last Exit" EVERY Saturday of the month, bring soul, funk, rock and whatever else gets you in the mood to keep your aural palette full while enjoying a cocktail.
It's kinda like when your parents are gone on vacation,
and you invite Kayo over. trouble.

THE KING IS DEAD with The Miserable Liars

Hubert Selby Jr.’s novel THE LAST EXIT to BROOKLYN
was the title inspiration for one of The Smiths most renowned albums
“THE QUEEN IS DEAD”.
Like our venues namesake, this night is inspired by the boundless possibilities Brooklyn emanates.
Expect to hear an eclectic array of dance beats,
new wave & post punk standards, soulful classics, rock steady rhythms and of course The Smiths and Morrissey

Party spinner DJ RUGGED ONE has been spinning for 14 years and was nominated for best turntablist of the year at M.I.C Hip Hop Awards in 2006 and 2007 held in Boston, MA. RUGGED has spun at numerous bars/lounges and clubs through out New York City and Boston area and is known to rock the crowd with his creative mix and song selection. This year DJ Rugged One is releasing a mix cd called Seoul Revolution full ofof good vibes and good music that focus on Soul, Funk, Rare Grooves and Hip Hop.
